I can neither see an option for manual updating. Maybe I need to start again but would probably end up as I am now, a backup but not updated. I see in the screenshot there is the file and and the name of (D) 'Daily' which I assume is a daily backup of the selected F&F. I did not see an option of a schedule in the wizard. Just one backup as shown below:Īs you will see I have a backup of 3 folders.Audio, Pictures and Data, as of the 18th November. I do not think I have chosen a schedule, not that I know of anyway.

You will also be able to see if you have any definition files already saved, and if so, whether any of them are on a schedule. In the 'Create Backups' view, you will find the options for defining a backup task and saving it as a Definition file, and for setting up schedules that automate the backup task.

What you need to do, is to head over to the 'Create Backups' view, by clicking the first of the three tabs at the upper left of the window: It is in fact also possible to launch an on-demand 'update' of a previous backup from within the 'Existing Backups' view, but since you want a scheduled backup task, that is not relevant to you.

Your screenshot shows that you are looking at the 'Existing Backups' view, which is a view that is helpful for finding past backup files, and doing various operations (verifying, browsing, restoring) using those past backups. The first thing you have to learn about the Reflect user interface, is that it has three different 'Views' (called 'Create Backups', 'Existing Backups', and 'Logs'), each of which provides a different interface with buttons and functions that are specific to the type of takes suggested by the name of the view.
